Accounts Receivable Manager manages accounts receivable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Oversees collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past-due accounts, and keeping track of cash receipts. Being an Accounts Receivable Manager monitors account aging reports, identifies delinquent accounts, and refers accounts to collection agencies. Develops and implements controls and policies to ensure accurate and compliant receivable records. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Manager verifies customer credit limits and applicable payment terms. Audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Accounts Receivable Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Accounts Receivable Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You Will Do:

    As a Accounts Receivable Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of the organization by overseeing the accounts receivable department and cash collection while maintaining positive relationships with customers by ensuring timely and accurate billing. This position involves managing the medical billing process, monitoring outstanding accounts, coordinating collections efforts, and ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions.


    Purpose:

    You ensure accurate and timely financial results in a respectful and confidential manner

    • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts
    • Implement and oversee collections strategies to minimize outstanding balances.
    • Monitor cash collection, credit card billing, and patient payment plans.
    • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections performance, and cash flow.
    • Prepare monthly reconciliations between accounts receivable and accounting.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

    • Oversee the application of cash receipts to customer accounts.

    • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Identify trends in billing to implement updated procedures and billing practices.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments to processes and procedures.


    Qualifications:

    • Must pass a background check, including criminal, abuse, and motor vehicle
    • Associates degree or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
    • Must have at least 3-year experience in electronic claims billing and reporting
    • Proven experience (1 year) in accounts receivable management
