Accounts Receivable Manager manages accounts receivable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Oversees collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past-due accounts, and keeping track of cash receipts. Being an Accounts Receivable Manager monitors account aging reports, identifies delinquent accounts, and refers accounts to collection agencies. Develops and implements controls and policies to ensure accurate and compliant receivable records. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Manager verifies customer credit limits and applicable payment terms. Audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency. Beacon Solutions Group is currently seeking a Accounts Receivable Manager. This person will provide billing services and general revenue cycle services to health care clients including professional, hospital, D&TC, OPWDD, OASAS, nursing home, home health, legal and third party payers. Work will be performed at home, client locations and regional office.
Required Skills: Billing experience in either physician, hospital or nursing home environment is required. Solid understanding of revenue cycle processes. 5 years billing experience. 1 years supervisory experience. Must be a self-starter who can work independently.
Desired Skills: Familiarity with ePACES and FISS DDE. 10 years billing experience.
Educational Requirements: AS Degree preferred. Billing certification desired.
Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel within New York. Daily travel up to 50% but varies greatly. Overnight travel occasionally required. Reliable transportation is a must.
The salary range for this position is between $58,000 to $70,000 and is commensurate with experience.
