Job Description:

Solar Manager, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer payments, managing billing inquiries, and maintaining financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic renewable energy company.

Responsibilities:

- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using our billing system

- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices

- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner

- Communicate with customers via phone and email to address billing inquiries and provide outstanding customer service

- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues and ensure customer satisfaction

- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and prepare monthly reports for management review

- Assist with month-end close procedures and other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organizational skills

- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of solar energy industry or renewable energy sector is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
