Hours: 20 Hours Weekly

General Description:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk, compliant with company procedures, primarily provides general support to the Bookkeeping Department for creating and submitting customer invoices; preparing, posting, verifying, and recording customers’ payments/transactions; and maintain customer records.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Creating and entering invoices
• Sending bills to customers
• Processing payments
• Verifying and posting receipts
• Customizing correspondence for due, past due, and collection of accounts
• Reviewing files to identify delinquent accounts, and contact clients to request payments
• Maintaining records including changes, mergers or mail attention for clients’ contact information.
• Supporting the accounting department with reviewing discrepancies
• Assisting with reports, filing and other departmental needs

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or certificate in business-related field preferred)
• At least two years related experience

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently in fast paced environment
• Capable of interacting professionally with customers
• Excellent organization skills, detail oriented, and accuracy driven
• Adept to learning new software / computer savvy

Work Schedule:

• Days and hours to be prescribed by Management
