KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a dynamic, growing business near Exeter, NH who are searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dedicated team.

This role is crucial for managing daily financial transactions, especially those related to cash receipts and invoicing, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and working closely with the sales team to maintain accurate billing information.

This position is onsite full time

The responsibilities of the position entail :

• Efficiently record, apply, and reconcile daily cash receipts to maintain precise financial records.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure all transactions are correctly documented.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to confirm that all payments are accurately posted and accounted for.
• Contribute to the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to verify the accuracy of customer billing information, thus enhancing customer satisfaction and financial accuracy.
• Handle invoicing for term customers, applying payments to past-due accounts to minimize outstanding receivables.
• Process chargebacks promptly and efficiently, resolving any issues that may arise.

The requirements for this role entail :

• 1 years of relevant Accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting ERP systems greater than QuickBooks
• Intermediate Excel knowledge is preferred
• Detail-oriented with an ability to identify discrepancies and take corrective measures.
