Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Clerk responds to customer inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies regarding bills. May utilize accounting software and systems to manage invoices and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounts Receivable Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Primary Job Functions/Tasks:
Minimum Requirements:
· Strong mathematical skills
· Experience in accounts receivable a plus
· Understanding of the basic principles of finance and accounting
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Outlook), Moderate to advance experience with Microsoft Excel
· Reliable transportation (required)
· Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
· Excellent interpersonal skills, Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
· Time management skills and Detail oriented
· Ability to multi-task and work effectively with or without supervision
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of general office equipment and procedures including correspondence, filing, scanning, copying, and printing
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Accounting/Finance degree a plus
