WHAT YOU WILL DO

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for services provided.
• Submit accurate and timely claims to various insurance companies.
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframes.
• Check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discounts.
• Resolve discrepancies and handle insurance billing inquiries.
• Prepare, review, and send patient statements.
• Maintain up-to-date records of billing and payment transactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and finance team to optimize billing processes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing/coding or accounts receivable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance policies, regulations, and billing procedures.
• Proficient in medical billing software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
