Accounts Receivable Analyst jobs in Tennessee

Appalachian Underwriters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Collections Representative to join our team in our Oak Ridge, TN Corporate Office. This role will be responsible for contacting agents, carriers, and customer about their past due premium payments.

Responsibilities:

· Works directly with the Accounts Receivable Department and with multiple companies using proprietary systems and information to verify, research, and assist with overall collection resolution efforts.

· Works in partnership with producers, insured, and carriers by phone and email contact daily.

· Reconciling, maintaining, processing transactions and reports using company accounting systems.

· Using data entry skills in Excel, proprietary reporting and web-based systems daily.

· Maintaining confidentiality.

Knowledge/Skills:

· Negotiation.

· Previous experience in accounts receivable.

· Ability to prioritize and multitask.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Deadline and detail oriented.

· Demonstrate high level of competency with Microsoft Excel.

Education:

· High School diploma required.

Compensation:

· $16 - $18 per hour.
