    Role Description

    This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts Receivable Accountant at Zust Bachmeier and Secure Facility Corporation in Hanover, MD. The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, processing invoices, and communicating with vendors and clients.  Other duties include banking and bank reconciliations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Obtain banking data and check that info is in software for all transactions
    • Complete invoices / statements to clients on a weekly basis
    • Process and post all business transactions for revenue
    • Email / call clients that are late with payments, sending invoices and statements and follow up
    • High visibility with owners for collections (monthly meetings)
    • Set up new vendors / post additional billing
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Complete 1099's

    Qualifications

    ·         Previous experience in accounting and finance

    ·         Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    ·         Advanced Outlook and Excel skills

    ·         Excellent communication skills for managing collections

    ·         Advanced attention to detail (learning industry specific language)

    ·         Analytical and critical thinking skills

    ·         Ability to work in a team environment

    ·         Proactive and patient / pleasant disposition

Manage accounts through a collection software that provides a path for collection activity, dispute resolution and creation of collection notices to our customer and or agency families.

Completes broadcast and calendar month end billings, reconciles accounts receivable module preparing monthly roll forward from beginning of month balance to end of month balance based on sales, credit adjustments, and cash receipts for the month.
