Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of an accounts payable function. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger to validate charges and ensure accurate and timely payments. Being an Accounts Payable Supervisor prepares and evaluates applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost-savings and relays the conclusions to management. Implements standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records and compliance with accounting policies. Additionally, Accounts Payable Supervisor investigates and resolves discrepancies in billings and payments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Payable Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Accounts Payable Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Guardian Security is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team! Guardian Security was founded in 1976, and we have been serving the people of the Pacific Northwest with their security and fire protection needs since then - for over 40 years! We are locally owned and operated, with four offices located in Yakima, Tacoma, Bellingham, and in the SODO district of Seattle.
This position is fully in office at our Seattle location. (1743 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134)
Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, M-F.
Pay: $27 - $32 per hour
Position Summary:
Oversees entire Accounts Payable process while supervising all members of the AP Team. Performs intermediate to advanced Accounts Payable duties and reconciliation process.
