Position Title: Accounts Payable
Reports to: Controller

Department: Accounting

Status: Full-time salaried; Exempt

Responsibilities

• Payroll
  • Reviews and edits timesheets for accuracy; reconciles timecard information and provides detail to payroll processor in Owensboro office.
  • Assists in payroll processing using ADP Workforce and Sage 300CRE related to time and labor, absence, and payroll functionality.
  • Receives, processes, and maintains records on various payroll issues such as garnishments and benefits deduction adjustments. 
  • Provides assistance to HR and employees related to paycheck questions.
  • Reconciles benefit and payroll liability accounts.
  • Assists with implementation of new timekeeping system.
• Accounts Payable
  • Gathering and processing invoices through TimberScan system.
  • Payment processing
  • Assist with vendor inquiries and project cost analysis.
  • Ad hoc reporting for project and overhead review.
  • Reconciles accounts payable subledger and general ledger balances.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• 3 years of payroll processing experience
• 1-2 years of accounts payable processing experience 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business concentration (accounting or finance)
• Previous construction accounting experience
• Intermediate Excel capabilities (v-lookups, pivot tables, formatting/filtering, etc.)
• Experience in ADP Workforce and Sage 300CRE software systems
• Microsoft office proficient
