Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of an accounts payable function. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger to validate charges and ensure accurate and timely payments. Being an Accounts Payable Supervisor prepares and evaluates applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost-savings and relays the conclusions to management. Implements standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records and compliance with accounting policies. Additionally, Accounts Payable Supervisor investigates and resolves discrepancies in billings and payments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Payable Supervisor provides supervision, coaching, training and development of our Non-Inventory A/P team while assisting the A/P Manager with system implementation and streamlining processes. This role will work closely and have regular interactions with employees and vendors. The A/P Supervisor will take the lead in maintaining DocuPeak, our automated invoice approval system, ensuring policies and procedures are followed effectively, transactions are processed timely, and inquiries are resolved within a reasonable time-frame.
