Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of an organization's accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Maintains and reconciles the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records and control reports. Monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Prepares and evaluates applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost-savings or process improvements and relays conclusions to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The Opportunity
As the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire accounts receivable process for ConvenientMD. This includes leading a team of A/R Specialists and acting as part of the leadership team within the Revenue Cycle Management department.

Your Impact
Team Leadership- Supervise and mentor a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team meets defined performance goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Cash Application- Manage the efficient application of cash receipts to customer accounts.
- Reconcile daily cash postings and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and address unapplied cash.
Collections Management- Develop and implement effective collections strategies to reduce outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Monitor aging reports and work with the team to prioritize and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
Reporting and Analysis- Generate regular reports on key accounts receivable metrics for management review.
- Analyze trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of financial forecasts and budgets.
Who You Are
Experience: You have 5 years in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years of management experience.Strong Leader: You consider yourself a strong communicator, leader, and have strong interpersonal skills.Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing practices, regulations, and third-party payer policies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to Commute: Reliable transportation to commute to our corporate HQ office Monday- Friday in Portsmouth, NH.
