Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk supports the day-to-day operational activities of an organization's accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Ensures transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk creates and distributes invoices to customers and verifies, records, and posts payments received. Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed and records and processes payments for debts owed by the organization. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk responds to customer or vendor inquiries regarding payments or billing and researches and resolves discrepancies. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable and receivable ledger accounts. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. El Dorado Community Health Centers, a FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) offering Primary Care Services with locations in Placerville and Cameron Park, is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk. As a non-profit community health center EDCHC provides Medical, Dental, Optical, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health and SUD Treatment Services to underserved populations. Location assignment for this position is currently Placerville, the location assignment can be subject to change per need of the center.
Under the direct supervision of the Controller, performs routine accounting support duties in areas of accounts payable and assisting with payroll. The position is responsible for coding and reviewing AP invoices for proper account distribution and accuracy, reconciling accounts, receiving remittances, preparing bank deposits, and monitoring cash on hand for the Front Office. Assist the Controller and Leadership team with special reports and projects.
