Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst analyzes accounts payable/receivable activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst utilizes AP/AR data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements or cost savings. Generates reports to bring insight into collections, account ages, and other relevant metrics and relays conclusions to management. Additionally, Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst investigates and resolves discrepancies in billings and collections or payments. Analyzes customer credit history, determines credit risk, and recommends credit limits and payment terms. May recommend improvements to accounts payable/receivable processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Summary:

    Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for routine project documentation, materials, status monitoring, and administrative closeout of each project.  This position is required to closely interact with the Project Manager and assigned project staff to ensure the timely completion of each project.  Typically requires a High School diploma or GED and up to three (3) years of experience.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Responsible for issuing purchase orders and reconciling purchase order issues for enabling.
    • Process documents for service claims sales allowances, retrofit, and labor warranty.
    • Logs service start-up and service work requirements in job tracking system.
    • Communicates effectively with other team members concerning project management process.
    • Assist in keeping AR up to date
    • Pulls job credit number and assist with credit supplement processing.
    • Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfillment process.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

    High School diploma or GED and up to three (3) years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products.  Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS 

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY 

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Annual Base Pay Range - $39,000 - $82,500
