Additionally, Accounts Payable Clerk responds to vendor inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies in billings and payments. Sky Lake Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team. As a family-owned construction company located in Nesbit, MS, we pride ourselves on building beautiful high-quality and affordable homes. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure all invoices are properly approved and coded
-Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
-Maintain accurate records, including paper and electronic files
-Reconcile vendor statements
-Resolve discrepancies with vendors
-Maintain and reconcile budgets
-Prepare analysis and reports as requested
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-3 years of administrative or accounting experience
-High School diploma or equivalent required
-Business or Accounting degree a plus
-Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
-Detail-oriented and organized
