Accounts Payable Clerk jobs in Blue Springs, MO

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with experience in accounts payable processes. Experience with SAGE Intacct is a plus. This role will be for the largest Republican Political Consulting firms in the US. The nature of this industry is cyclical, and overtime may be required on a regular basis during certain time periods.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 or more years of accounts payable experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced knowledge a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with an ERP system. (Sage Intacct experience is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
