Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Analyst

• Process outgoing payments
• Analyze expenses and provide insights
• Verify, classify, and record accounts payable data
• Reconcile accounts
• Generate reports
• Partner with various company departments to acquire appropriate approvals for invoice payment
• Research, collect, and analyze invoices and accounting codes for accuracy
• Interact with vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform additional tasks and projects as required

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or similar field
• Minimum 3 years of proven analytics experience, preferably in finance
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• High degree of accuracy and diligence
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
