Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our property management company. This role involves managing accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the accounting team, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and monitor budgets for properties under management, ensuring financial goals are met.
• Manage cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with property managers and executives to optimize financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Work closely with auditors during financial audits and tax filings.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in property management accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of property management accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management accounting.
