 WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist the controller in the direction of the accounting functions of an organization.
• Assist the controller in ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the financial statements.
• Preparation of budgets and financial reports and overseeing their evaluation.
• Present the various accounting reports to the top management and making suitable observations and recommendations.
• Monitor investment policies and operations of the company.
• Manage operational data and maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
• Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting.
• Review financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data.
• Develop system controls for ensuring data integrity.
• Develop proper operational, data documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Liaison for accounting software, system vendors, consultants, and sale points.
• Conduct account reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist in the company’s monthly and yearly closing.
• Assist in special projects whenever asked.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred
• Experience: 5 Years' Experience 
• Computer Skills:  Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting Software: JD Edwards experience preferred

Certification/Licenses: CPA required
