Accounting Clerk jobs in Pompano Beach, FL
Accounting Clerk performs routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries. Being an Accounting Clerk assists in completing moderately complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools. Reconciles accounts and bank statements. Additionally, Accounting Clerk has a basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounting Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Issuing payments twice a month
- Coordinate with purchasing, dispatch, construction PMs and warehouse
- Manage $600k-$800k portfolio in outstanding debt per month
- B2b Collections
- AIA billing
Qualifications
- 2 years in an Accounting Clerk type role handling AP/AR duties
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Construction experience is a plus
- 100% onsite position to start
- Able to select between 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm schedules
