Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial transactions of the dealership are accurately recorded and maintained. This position involves a blend of administrative and accounting tasks, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the dealership's finance team, management, and frequently working directly with customers.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including daily deposits.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion when handling sensitive data.

-Clerical duties including answering phones and taking payments from customers when needed.

Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or 2 years accounting experience required
- Proficient in using Excel and Word
- Excellent math skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
