Staff Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant who will become a long-term member of our team. You should have a deep understanding of accounting best practices and how to achieve them, including GAAP accounting. Financial and analytics experience is a plus. Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with Accounts Payable and Billing, process invoices, and locate and resolve account discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor, customer, SW partner, and other financial accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets and forecasts
• Analyze financial data and business workflows to identify trends and make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyze operational workflows and recommend controls with and between departments
• Support internal and external audits, gathering necessary account information and documents
• Create and review effective KPIs to measure performance and help create employee incentive plans
• Support the CFO with daily operations and projects
• Work with cross-functional teams, including Billing and Sales, to improve financial operations

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting
• 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the IT industry
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and GAAP
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
• Proficiency with enterprise accounting software

Bonus Qualifications:

• Business & Financial Analytics experience and an understanding of some of its tools, including Power BI
• An understanding of RPA, particularly with Microsoft Power Automate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
