Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Being an Accountant compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Additionally, Accountant typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Accountant work is closely managed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred:- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience working in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience working with multiple levels of leadership.
- Manages time effectively and adapts to quickly changing priorities.
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Verbal, written communication, and organizational skills are also needed in this position.
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail, excellent problem solving, judgment making, analytical, customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships with all parts of the business, IT, HR, Divisions, Operations, local accounting team and larger company wide accounting team.
Working Conditions:- This position reports into our NKY office.
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
- Working in a stationary position for an extended period.
- Operating computers for an extended period.
- Moving or traversing for an extended period.
- This position spends most of the time inside a climate-controlled environment.
