Verify and audit daily revenue reports for tickets, ski school, lodging, retail, rental, and food & beverage
Address and rectify audit process discrepancies in collaboration with relevant department supervisors. These responsibilities require extensive problem solving skills and diplomatic communication skills.
Assist with the generation of daily journal entries for all departments, reflecting audit outcomes.
Assist with the compilation and distribution of various reports such as revenue reports, skier count, daily snow report, and daily payroll projections to management.
Support in the reconciliation of general ledger at month-end, including cash and credit card accounts, accounts receivable, and other revenue-oriented accounts.
Oversee the organization and storage of financial backup documents.
Provide change for all locations on mountain, receive and log bank bags with cash,and count cash revenue received from departments and balance to department reports
Oversee the resolution of credit card disagreements.
Knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices.
Knowledge of revenue-related accounts.
Skilled in using financial software and spreadsheet programs for data processing and analysis.
Ability to manage and process large amounts of financial data.
Ability to adhere to internal controls and protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is preferred.
