Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Perform cash flow analysis to monitor and forecast company's cash position
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information for reporting purposes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Conduct research on accounting issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger functions
- Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation techniques
- Familiarity with cash flow analysis and financial concepts
- Experience with financial services or LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) is a plus
- Knowledge of securities law is a plus
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., PeopleSoft)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,344.86 per year

Experience:

• GAAP: 3 years (Preferred)
