They will gauge the overall interest of the customer, collect information, and build the relationship with perspective customers. We are look for professionals with lead generation experience to fill two Inside Sales Rep positions. This is a great opportunity for those interested in transitioning to other sales positions as we continue to grow. Inside Sales Reps will be responsible for preserving existing revenue and creating new revenue streams and on-going business opportunities to ensure that Maise meets or exceeds sales, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives in those accounts. The Sales Rep will develop and foster relationships with key customer executives and decision-makers, acquire an intimate understanding of the customer’s business, and create new business opportunities for Maise by identifying emerging customer needs and formulating the appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Shared responsibility for all business development/sales activities in the targeted territory. You will be responsible for preserving existing revenue and creating significant new revenue streams and on-going business opportunities to ensure that Maise meets or exceeds bookings, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives in those accounts.
- Potential to provide sole support of new business development/sales activities within select accounts
- Provide strategic support in order to grow existing book of business within select key accounts.
- Provide lead generation and administrative support in support of all sales activities for the targeted territory.
- Represent the product, services and support needs of the customer base and marketplace to the appropriate line organizations at headquarters, and work closely with marketing and product development to ensure tight alignment with product planning and the development of the product roadmap. This includes presenting opportunities for evaluation that could expand the company’s market and product reach.
- Learn and understand Maise products, services, pricing, and markets. Keep current with internal Maise plans and developments. Remain current on relevant industry and specialty topics as needed to perform other duties at the highest possible level.
- Schedule Maise personnel in support of business development activities as needed including any travel arrangements and support
- Provide administrative duties necessary to conduct job such as creating and maintaining up-to-date company files, electronic records including contacts, quotes and forecast records.
- Identify target opportunities, customers. Provide market and customer feedback for product development & marketing. Attend and support relevant industry conferences and events.
- Provide weekly status reports and forecast updates using whatever computerized or paper-based system Maise requires.
Minimum Education:
Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Statistics-related area. MBA or advanced degree highly desirable.
Minimum Work Requirements:
- Experience in IT and/or CyberSecurity preferred.
- 1-3 years of sales-related experience (lead generation, inside sales, proposals, etc.) in the sales industry.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional people skills and understanding of organizational dynamics and politics.
- Self-motivated and enterprising with the flexibility to work across functional boundaries as required.
- Congenial with strong team orientation and the ability to work well with others, especially founders with a passion for research and teaching.
- Established connections at director levels and above in target industries.
- Experience creating positive meeting opportunities at senior levels in clinical development or equivalent groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with the capacity to understand and articulate primary issues around key clinical technology.
- Ability to apply these skills to identify, analyze business opportunities in accounts and more broadly in the industry.
