Account Management Manager manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Manager ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Manager may set sales targets or quotas. May make suggestions for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Account Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Associate I – Account Management

    What you can expect:

    • Account Managers are responsible for accounting, regulatory compliance, project management and some administrative functions for a portfolio of captive insurance company clients; because the insurers we manage are primarily owned by their policyholders – most often medium and large entities – they are considered “captive” insurers in the industry

    • You will support a portfolio of 8-10 client accounts

    We will count on you to:

    • Review and assist in preparation of financial statements in an accurate and timely manner

    • Coordinate and participate in client meetings, including attending board meetings (virtually)

    • Supervise account administrator(s) activities to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately

    • Coordinate audits which, at times, includes drafting the audited financial statements

    • Monitor accurate and timely completion of regulatory filings including annual reports and premium tax returns; ensure ongoing compliance with applicable insurance laws and regulations

    • Regulatory and financial statement reporting

    What you need to have:

    • 3 years’ experience in finance or an accounting-related role

    • Experience reviewing and preparing financial statements

    • Regulatory and financial statement reporting

    • Knowledge of general ledger software

    • MS Office suite, with very solid Excel skills

    What makes you stand out?

    • CPA or other accounting/finance credential

    • Experience in insurance brokerage

    • Insurance accounting experience and knowledge of limits

    • Captive experience
