Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Director ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Position Overview:
    Tidewater Landscape Management, Inc. is seeking to fill our Garden City Account Manager position. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing all field operations within the assigned division.

    Salary is based on experience for this exempt position.  A company truck will be provided. Other benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short, and Long Term Disability, FSA, 401k, Accident, Hospital, Critical Illness, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Holiday Pay.. Safety essentials are provided by the company.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manages and schedules labor, equipment, and material to accomplish production schedules.
    • Understand contract specifications and ensures they are met and maintain customers'
      complete satisfaction. 
    • Hiring, training, and development of personnel along with performance evaluations.
    • Visit job sites regularly, observe the organization of work, identify and resolve
      training issues, and take necessary actions to ensure quality.
    • Respond to customer complaints ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer
      satisfaction.
    • Investigates any accident or safety violation, prepares appropriate reports, takes action steps
      to correct and prevent future occurrences. 
    • Coordinate between divisions to maximize and leverage company-wide personnel,
      equipment and other resources.

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    • At least 5 years of experience in the commercial landscape industry, 2 of which should be in management-level positions.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • A high-integrity leader with strong interpersonal skills who can develop and motivate a team. 
    • Ability to effectively present information and answer questions before employees, managers, and customers.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Ability to pass a criminal background check, and drug screen. and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

    • Use hands and arms to handle, feel or reach.

    • Use vision abilities for close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus.
    • Lift to 50 lbs independently and repeatedly.
    • Push and pull equipment.
    • Flexible working schedule to include an occasional weekend.
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
     
    Adverse Conditions:
    • Subject to outdoor weather conditions which may include extreme cold, extreme heat, extreme humidity, wet, dusty conditions.
    • Subject to exposure to insects.
