Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. Being an Account Management Director ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Account Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     About This Role

    At Stitch, we're seeking an Account Director to take the lead in expanding our existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading client relationships, driving revenue growth, and owning the overall success of their portfolio of accounts.

    What You’ll Do

    • Be a trusted advisor to your accounts through strategic thinking and prescriptive recommendations related to marketing, marketing technology, and marketing process. Developing a strong point of view and organizing your thoughts into a well-articulated plan is imperative.
    • Transition ownership of accounts from new logo Solution Leads, focusing on multiple accounts with the greatest potential.
    • Plan on-site client visits at least once a quarter.
    • Manage assigned revenue targets with a relentless commitment to surpassing quarterly and annual quotas.
    • Spearhead efforts to grow bookings within our existing client base, maximizing the opportunity for recurring services.
    • Work closely with the Delivery team, proactively seeking insights for referrals and driving upsells.
    • Take the initiative to collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that projects are staffed appropriately to meet client growing needs.
    • Utilize your B2B sales expertise to negotiate contracts with existing customers and successfully close deals.
    • Showcase the ongoing value of our services, aiming to exceed quarterly bookings targets.
    • Contribute to our go-to-market strategy by identifying opportunities for market expansion within Braze's business.
    • Gain insights on client issues, communicate resolutions, and provide product feedback to our Delivery team.
    • Become an expert in Braze and its technology partners to anticipate customer needs and questions effectively.

    What Success Looks Like In This Role

    • You immediately take ownership of the client relationships by scheduling intro meetings and on-site visits.
    • You confidently “own the room” when leading client meetings. Every meeting has an agenda that you run. You call on clients and/or internal Stitch team members to add their perspectives to the conversation. You define the next steps at the end of the meeting.
    • You pay close attention to any seemingly insignificant problems or challenges mentioned by clients or the Delivery team during interactions and proactively dig deeper to uncover underlying issues. Utilize these insights to identify opportunities for additional services or solutions that can further support the client's needs and contribute to the account's growth.
    • You create a roadmap for every account in your profile and spring into action to implement it after presenting it to Stitch sales leadership.
      • 10 years of experience as an Account Manager, Client Partner, Account Director, or Engagement Manager at a Martech consultancy or product company. 
      • A track record of successfully managing sales quotas in B2B sales and a relentless desire and ability to generate pipeline and close deals
      • Experience and confidence in leading meetings with all levels of marketing organizations. 
      • Strong understanding of financial metrics and the ability to manage a P&L effectively.
      • A growth mindset and willingness to go the extra mile for the team’s success, not just personal wins
      • A focus on learning and a desire to be an expert in the Braze tech stack and MarTech
      • An ability to move quickly, multi-task, and adapt to our rapidly changing and growing market 
      • Background in planning, customizing, and delivering strategic technology demonstrations and execution plans
      • A willingness to think outside the box and quickly develop new innovative solutions to solve our customers needs
      • Ability to travel up to 25% 
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
      • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
