Account Executive - Advertising jobs in Richmond, KY

Account Executive - Advertising maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential advertising accounts. Targets potential advertising clients and develops relationships in order to acquire new advertising accounts. Being an Account Executive - Advertising may be responsible for selling ad programs in digital formats including banners/buttons, rich media, and interactive ad products. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Account Executive - Advertising typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Account Executive - Advertising gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     • Set up phone and zoom calls with prospective clients.
    • Research new clients and update contacts in our CRM.

    • Create proposals and advertising packages for prospective clients.
    • Use MailChimp or other blast e-mail provider to send sales opportunities and/or readership events.
    • Attend industry events to meet current and prospective clients (some overnight travel required).
    • Other duties as required by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
    • Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of reputable sales experience.
