    Primary duties and responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to Leadership
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies, order placement and shipping dates to keep clients informed
    • Work with the team to create branded marketing materials to assist with sales development
    • Keep the Customer Management System and Social Media platforms up to date
    • Maintain understanding of local and regional cannabis regulations to ensure all sales and sample activities are conducted within legal framework

    Knowledge/Skills:

    • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the cannabis industry
    • Strong product knowledge and a passion for the cannabis industry is a plus
    • Demonstrated success in driving business development and achieving sales targets
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
    • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
    • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
    • Proficient in using CRM software, Google Drive and other sales tools
    • Familiarity with LeafLink a plus
    • METRC compliance experience a plus

    Education/Training:

    • Microsoft Office
    • Google Suite
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
