Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Guard. As a Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle potentially challenging situations with professionalism and tact.

Duties:
SUMMARY: Driving an armed vehicle, guarding and delivering or picking up shipments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid New York State driver license, no points or accidents.
• Must be able to obtain an New York City carry permit.
• Complete a 47-hour Armed Guard Course (preferred but not required)
• Having Armored Car Messenger or related experience is advantageous.
• Military background is desirable.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Able to work a flexible work schedule. On occasion, maybe required to work up to 6 days a week, with rotational days off as scheduled. These hours may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Basic math skills for reporting purposes
- Strong conflict management skills
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Certificate in security training is desirable

Skills:
- Proficient in using GPS for navigation purposes
- Ability to drive safely and responsibly
- Experience as a delivery driver is beneficial
- Capable of heavy lifting when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.74 - $27.00 per hour
